We have now merged with Southern Brooks Community Partnerships.
Originally established in 1986 as the Chase and Kings Forest Community Project, then renamed Community Ignite and have grown to provide much needed services to help develop the local community. We work across the south of South Gloucestershire but prioritise our support in the areas of highest deprivation - Kingswood, Staple Hill and Cadbury Heath.

Volunteer Centre Kingswood:
We actively encourage local organisations to use volunteers and individuals to volunteer, managing a database of hundreds of opportunities. Click here to see the full range of volunteering opportunities available.
Support for families:
Families can benefit from our parenting support and cooking courses running in Staple Hill, Kingswood and Cadbury Heath. We have also just started providing intensive family support work through a new Family Wise project.
Support for those seeking employment:
We have developed a range of courses to assist those actively looking for work, from CV writing to intensive support, mentoring and volunteer placements.
Promoting positive health and well-being:
We have eight health champions who champion healthy lifestyles. They have a particular interest in mental health and are offering services and support to those with poor mental health. They are working together to develop Positive State of Mind, a peer-support network for those with poor mental health.
We offer training to develop key skills including digital skills, speaking with confidence, mentoring.
Providing infrastructure support
We offer individual and group support for voluntary sector organisations. This work varies from health checks to funding advice and network meetings. Click here for the full range of support we can offer.
