Job and IT Club

“It’s hard to motivate yourself at home – especially when home is a hard place to be. Coming here is helpful. It’s quiet and I can ask for help. It makes me feel I can get on.”

Our weekly Job and IT club  has a team of trained volunteers, who provide individual support to job seekers, by helping them write a CV or search for jobs online. We are also now providing online learning courses that help people develop their IT skills. It runs every Thursday at Kingswood library, 1pm-3pm. South Gloucestershire Council are funding this initiative.

The Job and IT club also runs a Bristol Credit Union service point and will support people with queries about volunteering in the area. You can even apply to buy a second hand computer at the moment through the club. LowCostComputerScheme POSTER.pdf
